Agronomy
A key component of the success of the Central Lakes Cooperative is our Agronomy Division. We are a full-service Crop Production company. At our corporate headquarters west of Atwater, Minnesota, we operate a 12,000 ton dry fertilizer plant, a large NH3 supply facility, extensive liquid fertilizer storage, bulk and bagged seed complete with automated seed treatment system and the area's largest bulk crop protection distribution center.
We offer custom application of plant food, anhydrous ammonia and crop protection product application utilizing state of the art application equipment and certified, experienced applicators. We can apply plant food via variable rate equipment for both dry fertilizer and anhydrous. We have an extensive fleet of modern, well-maintained NH3 toolbars, dry fertilizer trailers and liquid fertilizer tanks for rent.
This Division is managed by Dale Scheffler who has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Helping Dale meet and exceed the expectations of our patrons are nine full-time Agronomy employees and up to fifteen part-time employees.
